Rudolf Leo
Rudolf Leo grew up in the Oberpinzgauer village community Bramberg am Wildkogel. After an apprenticeship as a retail merchant Rudolf Leo studied pedagogy, special education and curative education, but worked as head of communications of the Vienna Greens and subsequently as a spokesman for the Lower Austrian Greens, later as spokesman for Provincial Minister Rudi Anschober in the Upper Austrian Provincial Government. In 2012/2013, Leo was a member of the research team of the Vienna Wilhelminenberg Commission, which investigated the allegations of violence and abuse against children in the former children's home Schloss Wilhelminenberg and received his doctorate from the Institute of Contemporary History at the University of Vienna with a thesis on National Socialism in Pinzgau (published 2013 in Otto Müller Publisher as the first of several publications).
