Born in 1963 in Salzburg. TV and radio journalist, publicist, author; Japanologist. Long-time presenter of the Ö1 program "Radiokolleg" and contributor to Ö1. TV documentaries for the TV formats Newton, Orientation, Religions of the World, World Journal. Radio broadcasts in German and Swiss channels. Teaching at universities in Japan and Austria as well as in adult education. Moderation of events. Lectures on Japanese topics. Journalistic focus: Japan - Society, Politics and Contemporary History; socio-political implications of nuclear technology; current sociopolitical topics in Europe and Austria such as migration or terrorism; reprocessing of the Nazi era and Austrian contemporary history.
