Barbara Stöckl
The Austrian presenter, journalist and author Barbara Stöckl initially studied mathematics in Vienna. The entry into the TV business she found on the assistant director for the ORF youth program "Okay", from 1985 she took over the moderation of this show. Since then, Barbara Stöckl has presented a variety of programs for the ORF, including youth programs, talk shows and the consumer magazine "help TV". For the German television she took over the youth show "Colon" on ZDF, which she presented until 1993. Today she hosts the broadcasts "Stöckl", "Stöckl live" and "Science Talk", which is also broadcast on ARD alpha. In addition, Stöckl is involved in many aspects of human rights, social affairs and environmental protection - both privately and professionally.
