Petra Kronberger
Petra Kronberger (born February 21, 1969 in St. Johann im Pongau, Salzburg) is a former Austrian ski runner. In 1992, she was two-time Olympic champion and in 1991 world champion in downhill racing. She won the Overall World Cup three times and was the first alpine ski racer to win victories in all five disciplines. In the years 1989-1992 Petra Kronberger won the overall World Cup three times, as well as the discipline ranking in slalom. Following her career as an active athlete, Kronberger pursued her school-leaving examination, studied German literature and art history in Salzburg, and worked as a university assistant. She lived again in the city of Salzburg. Kronberger worked in adult education and as an art guide and was a member of the Organizing Committee of the World Cup 2013 in Schladming. Since 2005, Kronberger has also been a passionate singer in the Salzburg Cathedral Choir and in the KlangsCala. On 16 January 2016 she was presented by the ÖSV, where she has been a full-time employee since November 2015, as "Women's Representative".
