Sylvia Hobiger
"I was born on August 17th,1957 in Salzburg and spent my first years in Styria. Then Salzburg became my center of life and it has remained until today. I started to study yoga and Vedanta in 1988. This gave rise to a strong need to devote myself to peace work. Then, in 2007, when a World Peace Tree was planted in the Salzburg Palace Park of Hellbrunn, I started to organize the World Peace Day celebration together with the Salzburg Peace Network. The work for peace has taken a big place in my life."
