Testimonial von Ernst Löschner für Baum 47
There are 32 great people honored in Tree # 47. Given this large number, the space here would not be enough to honor them individually. Only in two cases is there an exception: Floridus Kaiser (he was managing director of the Don Bosco refugee organization) and David Zistl (he was head of Welcome Refugees!) are unfortunately no longer with us; Floridus suffered a heart attack and David died in a traffic accident. They should be especially thought of in the grove of flight.
Common to all others is their selfless commitment to other people or to important social initiatives. Many of them have worked closely with me on the Petition Against Inhumanity in June 2013, when we co-authored a call for a human refugee policy signed by more than 30,000 people. A prominent committee of 300 personalities supported the petition with personal quotes. Others have worked closely with APC on our social and refugee projects such as AT HOME and WE GIVE, or have been partners for APC's projects in the fields of psychotherapy, integration, family reunification, Syria Relief and youth care. Some have personally participated in the Krimml Peace Dialogue. All 32 supported the objectives of APC and contributed very professionally and in a personally pleasant way.
I am grateful that I am allowed to be friends with everyone. With each of them, only beautiful memories connect me. Nothing in life is self-evident. The grove of escape is therefore also a symbol of my gratitude to all. I especially like to be one of its founders for this tree.
