Grove
of Flight

The Grove is dedicated to all people on the run. A prism, two natural stones and 49 trees present, honor and connect refugees, activists and persons who want to show their solidarity with either of them.

May the trees grow, and also the relation to the Honorees.

Ernst Löschner

Flight has many faces.

Many trees are dedicated to people whose fate is inextricably linked to the former camp Givat Avoda for "Displaced Persons" in Saalfelden or to the Jewish Exodus 1947 over the Krimml Tauern.

Others pay tribute to those who have to flee from war, terror, natural disasters and poverty for their survival, today.

Brave commitment too.

Two large natural stones and 49 trees honor personalities who, on the basis of their own experiences or their commitment, have given exemplary support to the cause of peace, such as the revival of this escape route, and have actively supported social and integration work.
